I am a design educator and city advocate. I founded the Building City Lab as a way to connect with others to:

Empower young people to act as agents and positively impact cities

Create conversations around critical issues

Reflect on current practices in urbanism and design education

How can young people create vibrant places that empower rather than ignore, embrace rather than alienate?

Can we collaborate to create a vision of what is possible? Break down barriers to broad participation? Create real pathways to sustaining jobs?

Can we give young people the tools they need to navigate the world and their place in it?

How can we equip ourselves with the tools to advocate for the kinds of places we love?

I’d like to collaborate with people who seek answers to these questions: students, teachers, schools, individuals and organizations. Whatever the medium, let’s partner to create lasting impact, help young people create paths to viable careers, and tackle the joys and pains of life in the 21st century city.
